Todd
Purnick
Born
in Downey, California on October 10, 1963, Todd was taking
drum lessons by the time he was 5 years old. Even at that
young age, Todd knew that music was where he belonged. Not
long after he started playing guitar and learned quickly
that writing and performing were what he wanted to do.
After leaving high school and a brief stint in the military,
Todd found himself as a Singing Ringmaster for the Royal
Hannaford Circus. The next five years were spent on the
road performing in coliseums and gymnasiums across the country.
When he wasn't touring with the circus, he would perform
as a solo artist in clubs throughout the country.
The diversity of his life is reflected in the music he creates.
From in-your-face songs like 'Down" to "under
the sun," a beautiful melody that confesses a self-inflicted
loss of love, his music touches the hearts and souls of
those who listen.
In
His Own Words....
"Music
is where I belong, it's where I feel at home. I certainly
don't want to be the kind of person who looks back and
wishes I had done things differently. I have four wonderful
children and I want to teach them that no matter what,
no matter how long it takes, never give up on your dreams
or yourself. If that's all that comes out of this, then
I will consider myself a success."..... Todd Purnick |
