She got the dish on Hollywood stars with Chef
Harry of PBS fame... she was right in the pits with race
car driver Mark Blundell... and Dr. Dean Ornish
had her trying out his new line of healthy frozen foods.
With warmth, wit and a comfortable style, Pam brings out the
best in a guest. Whether it’s Gerry Spence talking about
how he almost became the lead attorney for OJ Simpson, or Willie
Nelson on how he quit the radio business, Pam gets the story
that most other interviewers miss.
Noted forensic pathologist Harry Chinchinian says "Pam
Atherton is unbelievable in drawing people out in an interview!"
Here are just a few of the guests that Pam has welcomed on her
show.
House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt
Cooking Grande Dame Julia Childs
Journalist Catherine Crier
Oldies Icon Frankie Avalon
Nissan Design International President Jerry
Hirschberg
Portland TrailBlazer VP Harry Hutt
So whether it’s music, sports, health or the
law, you know it’ll be an interview with depth to it!!
Working for the Real Don Steele
in the early 1970’s, Pam learned radio right. She’s hosted
a top-rated morning show, won awards for news, interviewing
and creative commercial production, and has an Addy to
put on the mantelpiece. Pam has headed production and
creative services departments, programmed stations and
lived through an FCC inspection (passing it with flying
colors!) A successful writer and voice-over artist, Pam
occasionally pairs up with her 18 year-old daughter on
commercials.
