Great Music

Laini Risto

Starting as a five year old belting out tunes with her parents swing band in Battle Ground Washington, Laini kept on singing throughout high school and college. After years of classical voice training, soloing, and touring Europe in college, she branched out to sing with Northwest bands, produce Portland Oregon area jingles and charm crowds at fairs, festivals and special occasions. When Laini puts on a concert, her music touches all ages. From Nat King Cole's "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" to Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On", she can lift your soul or move you to tears. One thing for sure, you will always hear music you love, sung from the heart.

In March of 1998 Laini officially released her first CD "lost in the feeling" and produced the CD release concert "Music She Wrote... Songs She Sings" celebrating Women's History Month. Laini & The Guys entertained a packed audience for two hours with songs that were either written or sung by famous women musicians. This concert benefited the Domestic Violence Program at the local YWCA with a matching donation from Northwest National Bank.
