Helping kids stranded by Hurricane Katrina

Over 1500 children and their families from the Greater New Orleans area were been housed in Baker, Louisiana… about 100 miles from the city they used to call their home. Many have not returned to their homes, cannot return to their homes. They had only the items they brought with them... enough to make it through 3 or 4 days.

They had NO clothes, NO toys, NO books

Law enforcement officials in Baker asked us for donations. In less than a week, two semi truckloads of items were donated, checked, packed and loaded... ready to go to Baker..
