Great
Music
Jim
Fischer
Jim's
sense of rythym and melody, clean yet bluesy piano style
and almost unmatched command of acoustics, electronics and
orchestration has clearly distinguished his sound.
Music
has been a large part of Jim's life for as long as he can
remember. Born into a musical family in Wenatchee, Washington
in 1957, he was always surrounded by great musical expression.
As a teenager, Jim performed at jazz festivals with his
school Vocal Jazz Ensemble and studied with such talents
as Jeff Lorber and Dr. Alan Gates.
Jim
has produced soundtracks for corporate clients including
Disney Special Events, Tektronix and Freightliner. He produced
sound design and effects for Will Vinton's feature length
Claymation film The Adventures of Mark Twain. In 1984 he
prepared rythym arrangements and pre-production for the
soundtrack for the premier video release of Wee Sing.
Jim
also plays in the Rockaroos, a popular ensemble entertaining
kids from ages 2 to 102. The Rockaroos deliver "The happiest
kids music in America" both in live concerts as well as
on three great releases on CD and cassette. Besides co-producing
the last two releases he co-writes some of their music.

In
His Own Words....
"Mom was taking piano lessons when she was pregnant
with me, and then sat me down as a newborn as I quietly
listened to her piano lesson. Mom and dad both sang
in the choir, little did I know that I was being exposed
to four-part harmony and voice leading that I would
later be tested on in college.".... Jim Fischer |
